Gallinaro

Gallinaro is located in the Comino Valley and is crossed by Rio Mollo, a tributary river of Melfa. It borders the municipalities of Alvito, Atina, Picinisco, San Donato Val di Comino, and Settefrati.

The town is 21 kilometers (13 mi) from Sora, 25 kilometers (16 mi) from Cassino, 48 kilometers (30 mi) from Frosinone, 138 kilometers (86 mi) from Rome, and 125 Km from the center of Naples.

The Village is small and typically authentic to the area of the Province of Frosinone in the Italian Lazio region and is Situated in a scenic mountain region with breathtaking Apennine mountains.

Gallinaro is famous for the annual wine festival held on the 13th of August every year as well as the various festivals that are held all around in the surrounding villages.

The Village is also world renowned for the apparent sighting of the Baby Jesus now named "Bambino Gesu". Visitors come from all over the world to visit this religious attraction.

Rome and Naples can both be reached easily by taking a train from the nearby town of Cassino.

Closest Airports: Naples, Rome Fiumicino or Rome Ciampino.

Train service runs from Naples Central or Rome Airports to Cassino.

Taxi service can be arranged at the cost of ~200 Euros and takes around 1.30hrs.
